When friends leave

There is alot of buzz the last couple of days about favorite people leaving.
Some people are feeling a personal loss when someone deletes their Gaia account.
I have lost a few friends here, people that meant alot to me, but the thing I have learned about when people you are connected to leave is this.
If you are truly connected, they give you their email address and tell you they are going!
My good buddy Bewick, I'm sure you remember him...
Above all, I am a Realist, who believes in the all encompassing, bone crushing, mind numbing power of reality, and the dignity of man to withstand its blows. - Bewick Cory -
is doing fine and enjoying his life away from the complaining.
That is one reason he left.
He didn't like the whining, & the new agey stuff.
Being a realist, it's hard to accept the new agey stuff sometimes.
But then there was my bestest buddy here, JK .
When JK left he started his own network, which he would be thrilled to have you visit.
It's called Azedia.
J.K. is still rocking his Friday's with a great video & finding all kinds of words & acts
of wisdom.
They are not forgotten.
But if they really wanted to be in touch, they would do so.
No use crying over a person that doesn't want to be in touch with you.
As far as the vibe here changing, it's grown.
I came in when we were a small group of 16,000.
If I have any complaint, it's the "teen myspace" energy that has come in.
But hopefully the kids that come here, will be awakened & learn how to be better people from something we elders have to share with them.
You get what you are looking for here at Gaia.
Zaadz was fun, & so is Gaia.
Thanks Gaia Team & Friends, YOU are all an inspiration to me.

I like that Ladybear, “No use crying over a person that doesn't want to be in touch with you.” There's things I prevented myself from doing here at zaadz and Gaia; I don't whine and I don't get confrontational with others here. I don't hold any expectations whether they remember me or not (for example whether they email me or comment on my blogs). Whatever they want to share with me is what they want to share with me and I respect other people's spaces and silent moments. And the reason why I said that is because that is the reason why I am still here at Gaia. I do not want to be burnt out. I do not want to create enemies. I want to build bridges and the more the merrier. If they don't email or comment, that is fine with me, I will take the initiative to do that. And there are other people who I just leave alone silently. If they do something to me, I prevent myself from retaliating. I love reading this blog post because it resonated with me. I am not whining here I am just explaining and seldom do I explain myself here. I just keep on doing creative stuff and never worrying if it's going to be accepted or criticized by others.
And you are right, Youtube really needs to get it together, because there are a lot of videos that people sent me and they won't play but they said it plays at their end. But it's all good.
I am glad that we are friends Ladybear and that we are still here. You have taught me so much by being you. Thank you dear friend.

the village has grown into a metropolis; and with that comes the tenuous bonds that hold a close society together. I dropped in briefly when this site was known as zaadz, and it most definitely had a different atmosphere; almost all the regulars knew each other, each if they weren't personally connected; the Zaadz Ambassadors were highly visible in welcoming new members. Now people just come and go, drift here and there; there is certainly the QAR binding thoughts together, but apart from that it's up to each to form his own little community and personal space. And that takes a fair bit of effort. The “welcoming family” we might say, is gone. That to me seems the biggest transition in the last 6 months; more than changes to the interface, the layering of ads, etc.
So many speak of you with great love and honor your contribution here Ladybear,
your sharing is real, truthful and open hearted,
I pop in now and then and read over your great bloggs, I have learned much from your posts..
There are some wonderful people here, some very active in blogging, posting etc and some who are happy reading and sharing now and then, but overall its a great bunch who serve so many with their teachings, ideas and beauty,
I am thankful for those who care and open their heart to so many..
