This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 20, 2008:
My history.
Each of us has our personal trip. Our own personal journey in this incarnation.
For me, I was raised a Mafia Princess, thanks to my Grandfather shown on the left.
My mother was a model in New York City, that is me at 17.
How does a person go from this
To This...
Because on April 16, 1943 Dr. Albert Hofmann took a ride on his bicycle that changed the world as we knew it. He discovered LSD.
Thanks to his incredible discovery, I discovered that there was more to my life then
driving Corvettes, spending time in fancy dresses & going to clubs like the Copacabana.
I learned I could reach for something higher then my guilt driven Roman Catholic background, & that life was full of deep joy and alot of color.
Because of my deep spiritual experiences with mind altering hallucinogens & all they brought, I have been able to embrace joy in my cancer experience & study my own impending death without fear.
I just thought I'd answer the question in a personal way.
I wanted to mention that 102 year old Dr. Hofmann died this month,
and this last week was the anniversary that he discovered LSD.
All in all tho, I'm not a seperatist. I never liked "THEM AND US".
Ultimately, I am no different then you. We are interconnected, not seperated,
in "the great circle of life".

Thanks for sharing the deep stuff ladybear. What a rich life you have lead and continue to lead. Wonder if Hoffman was able to drop some cid, even a mild form? You are such a presence here for me and I'm sure I can say for many others. I do love that tierra in the pic and you are quite the foxy ladybear.
